Abu Dhabi Municipality and Ruud Lighting Arabia were the standout winners at the Middle East Electricity Awards, taking home the Project of the Year Award for their joint collaboration on the Salaam Street and Tunnel project in the UAE capital.

The Gulf Traffic Awards recognised the best in the region in road infrastructure and transport at a gala dinner attended by road, rail, parking and public transport professionals. The Abu Dhabi Municipality has completed the installation and commissioning of 50 traffic signal poles fitted with 206 bulbs, and 120 decorative street lighting poles fitted with LED lighting system along the completed surface roads.
