Located on the grounds of the Batten Field Airport, Modine Hangar welcomes private jets into Racine, Wisconsin. Airport officials installed THE EDGE™ flood luminaires facing the tarmac to improve visibility and safety for pilots positioning planes to the hangar.
THE EDGE security luminaires were also installed in the parking area adjacent to the hangar for added security for traveling passengers.
In an ongoing effort to increase sustainability, Duke Energy recently installed THE EDGEâ„¢ area, security and bollard luminaries at their headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Not only do BetaLED luminaires deliver significant energy savings, they reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released into the air, which in turn, reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
For improved safety and visibility for vehicle and pedestrian traffic, Chevron recently installed BetaLED exterior canopy fixtures. In addition, by replacing older lighting technology, energy efficient BetaLED luminaires deliver substantial energy savings.
This past July, Murphy USA in Plano, Texas retrofitted BetaLED canopy fixtures under one half of the canopy. Company executives decided to wait 30 days to install the second half of fixtures so customers could see the dramatic increase in visibility provided by the BetaLED fixtures.
